The 2 squads, Spain and Argentina have opted to stay at the Qatar University for the duration of the Global Competition 2022.
Both Spain and Argentina will stay in separate accommodations and will train in various fields throughout the competition at the Qatar University Sports Complex.
The lodgings are more modest than some of the 5 star hotels that the USA and England teams have opted for, but the University complex offers a host of other advantages such as:
- A world class infrastructure with a number of sports facilities.
- Residential units that have the latest systems
- 3 open sports complexes for outdoor and indoor sports
- Gyms, multiple football fields, volleyball, basketball, tennis, swimming, squash and water polo
The Spanish team have been allocated two of the training grounds exclusively for them, which includes meeting rooms, gymnasium and recovery areas.

- Included in the complex is a multi-purpose stadium that can seat 10,000 spectators. The stadium is built to international and Olympic specifications and is currently used for football matches and other athletic events.
Spain will be opening its campaign against Costa Rica on Nov 23 at the Al Thumama Stadium which is around a 20 kilometer or 12 mile trip from the University campus.
