The Global Competition 2022 in Qatar has been moved up by 1 day
Instead of starting on November 21, the Global Competition 2022 in Qatar will now start with the opening ceremony on Sunday, November 20, moving up 1 day.
It should be noted ………
It has long been a tradition of the Global Competition that the host country or defending champions kick off with the opening ceremony.
Now, the host country Qatar will kick off against Ecuador on Sunday 20 November at 19:00 at the 60,000 seat Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
The original schedule was the opening match of the Global Competition 2022 match between Senegal vs Netherlands. They will now play 6 hours later at 7pm (4pm UK time) on 21 November.
Football organisation said that local and international fans have now a greater cause for celebration. The opening ceremony is highly anticipated, particularly as a first ever for an Arab country to host the Global Competition 2022.
Holders of tickets, will have no need to worry they will be notified by email regarding the relevant matches, with their tickets remaining valid irrespective of the change of date/time.
