Liverpool ‘s captain, Jordan Henderson, has made a headline-grabbing transfer to join Steven Gerrard at Al Ettifaq, a team in the Saudi Pro League.
Managed by the legendary former Liverpool player, Gerrard, Al Ettifaq is rumored to be offering Henderson a substantial weekly salary of around £350,000. The contract is set to last until 2026.
Henderson’s move to the Saudi Arabian Pro League is marked by controversy, as the transfer fee involved is approximately £13 million.
