According to information obtained from ESPN, Tottenham has rejected yet another proposal presented by Bayern Munich to acquire striker Harry Kane.
According to sources, the German club is now considering whether to persist in their attempts to sign the renowned English national team player from Tottenham or redirect their efforts to another option.
Sources reported that the Germans’ latest proposal amounted to around 100 million euros (equivalent to R$ 540 million), including performance-based bonuses.
Behind the scenes, Bayern Munich had communicated to Tottenham that they expected a response by last Friday (4), threatening to abandon negotiations if the British team did not accept the proposed terms.
Sources interviewed by the report state that the London club did not respond within the deadline set by the Germans. However, on this Monday (7), they communicated that they did not accept the offer.
Interestingly, today, the current Bundesliga champion will hold a meeting with all key club members. During this meeting, it will be decided whether the team will continue to pursue the signing of Kane or opt to redirect their efforts to another target.
