Stephen Curry returned to the court on Saturday night after recovering from a knee injury, but his presence was not enough to prevent the Golden State Warriors from suffering their sixth consecutive defeat. The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Californian team 130-123, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander standing out by scoring 40 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.
Despite the final result, the game had significant twists. The Warriors were leading until the last second of the fourth period, with a score of 117-114, when Chet Holmgren made the impossible happen: he sank a three-point shot in the final breath of the match. This shot took the game into overtime, where the Thunder ultimately prevailed over the hosts. It’s worth noting that the newly arrived Brazilian, Gui Santos, did not take to the court.
